Primetime's 2010 LMPC car getting delivered
As we catch up on some news, here is some ALMS and Le Mans Series updates!
- Former F1 pilots Giancarolo Fisichella has joined AF Corse for the 2010 LMS season. It is expected that he will race against another former F1 pilot, Jean Alesi.
- Oreca have confirmed their lead driver for the Oreca 01 entry to Le Mans. Soheil Ayari will lead this entry. Oreca also confirmed that they will be running on Dunlops. Interestingly, however, there was no mention of an engine supplier - you may remember that the team ran AIM engines in 2009.
- Dyson Racing will also be running on Dunlops in 2010. The team will run at least one Mazda Lola in the entire ALMS season.
- Bruichladdich Zytek have confirmed that Norwegian Thor-Christian Ebbesvik will race for the team. Ebbesvik will be the nominated professional driver for the team alongside Karim Ojjeh and Tim Greaves. You may note that a team may only run one professional driver in P2 in the LMS.
- Teams have started to receive their LMPC cars for the ALMS season. Primetime has received their car, Genoa is en-route and the others are not too far off/
- Creation have also started to advertise for staff for the 2010 season - hopefully this will lead to another car in the ALMS.
