Today we have driver and Series news from GT1 World Championship and the VdeV Championships calendar is revealed.
- The FIA GT1 World Championship has released it new logo as part of a re branding exercise for the Championship.
CEO of SRO, Stephane Ratel said: “After more than 15 years of development in rebuilding GT racing we wanted to start 2010 with a new brand image that represented our new world championship status.
“We want to develop a global platform to showcase the fastest, most desirable and intoxicating cars, learning from our proud heritage but looking to the future with a new, strong, dynamic and stylish brand identity. By using the expertise of Interstate Associates I believe this new brand identity will help the championship capture the hearts and attention of motorsport fans around the globe.”

- More FIA GT1 news is that Jean-Denis Deletraz will race for Hexis AMR. The Swiss veteran had driven for Phoenix for the last four years.
Henri Moser and Karl Wendlinger will make one of the two car Nissan outfit for Swiss Racing. Swedish pilot Max Nilsson will be the first driver of the second Nissan GT-R. His co-pilot will be announced shortly.
- The VdeV Championship calendar has been confirmed. This season is made of eight events, of which four abroad with two original circuits, Mugello and Motorland Aragon, but also Jarama opening the season, Lédenon, Paul Ricard HTTT, Dijon, Magny-Cours and the final event at Estoril. Historic Endurance Challenge, GT/Touring Endurance Challenge, Proto Endurance Challenge; Single-seaters V de V Challenge and the Funyo Challenge will make up the race weekends. The calendar is as follows:
