News in Brief for 08 February


Ford will be entering the International GT Open

An additional entry in the Le Mans Series and GT Open make today's news, plus more driver news.

  • Saleen will be part of the 2010 Le Mans Series Championship with the Atlas Group taking over the assets of KplusK and Full Speed Racing Autosport has reported. The team will compete in the Le Mans Series in 2010 with a view to race in the GT1 World Championship in 2011. Carlo van Dam and Adam Lacko have been confirmed as drivers.

  • RPM will the International GT Open in 2010 with a Ford GT3 for Alex Mortimer and Peter Bamford. This is the first time that a Ford GT will enter the Series.
  • Pierre Kaffer will race for CRS in the first two rounds of the Le Mans Series in 2010. He will join Pierre Ehret and Phil Quaife in the second CRS car for the Paul Ricard and Spa races.
