Fans can expect cheap entry and a lot of access over the weekend

The Bathurst 12 Hours runs at the famed Mount Panorama circuit, renowned for the 1000km event. The 12 Hour race has, though has formed its own identity at the track. This version of the 12 hour has run since 2007 for production cars but GT cars will join the race for 2011.

We catch up with Event Director, James O'Brien to discuss the event and what spectators could expect. This is the second of a two part Q&A and will focus on what the fans can expect.

Graf celebrates taking pole position

A wild season of qualifying in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón continued Saturday. Muscle Milk Team CytoSport’s Klaus Graf grabbed pole position for Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of Mospot, the seventh driver in eight races to earn those honors. He set a best lap of 1:06.956 (132.212 mph) around Mosport International Raceway in the Muscle Milk Porsche RS Spyder that he will drive with factory pilot Romain Dumas.

Flying Lizard Motorsports is locked a tight GT battle for class honours

Porsche factory driver Romain Dumas was quickest again at Mosport International Raceway on Saturday in the first official practice for Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of Mosport. The reigning overall champion at the 24 Hours of Le Mans set a lap of 1:07.489 (131.168 mph) around Mosport International Raceway for Muscle Milk Team CytoSport in its Porsche RS Spyder.

Nurburgring: Turner and Enge Convert Pole into First Win


The Young Driver AMR had a fight at the start but was able to come through in the end

Darren Turner and Tomas Enge converted their pole position into the first win of the weekend at the Nurburgring as Turner took the chequered flag in the Young Driver AMR Aston Martin DB9 to claim victory in the FIA GT1 World Championship Qualifying Race.
