Enge put the Young Driver AMR team on pole
The Nurburgring weather held for the 60-minute qualifying, with Darren Turner and Tomas Enge taking their second pole position of the 2010 season, with Turner posting a 1m57.155s lap in the Q3 session for Round 6 of the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship at the Nurburgring in Germany. The top three places on the grid for this afternoon's race are filled by German teams, with the nr24 Reiter Lamborghini of Peter Kox and Christopher Haase finishing second in qualifying and the All-Inkl.com Munnich Motorsport Lamborghini of Dominik Schwager and Nicky Pastorelli in third.

Cytosport dominated the test session as Romain Dumas reacquainted himself with the RS Spyder
In his first laps driving the Porsche RS Spyder since 2008, Romain Dumas set the fastest lap in testing for the Mobil 1 presents Grand Prix of Mosport. The Frenchman set a time of 1:07.801 (130.564 mph) in the Porsche prototype he will drive with Klaus Graf.

The session started out dry but rain soon forced the session's red flag
The Young Driver AMR team continued to set the pace on the first day at the Nurburgring. In this morning's Free Practice it was Stefan Mucke and Christoffer Nygaard in the nr8 Aston Martin DB9 who set the fastest lap and in this afternoon's Pre Qualifying session it was the nr7 car of Darren Turner and Thomas Enge who topped the time sheets.
