PSI Experience lines up on pole at the Paul Ricard HTTT

After a close fought qualifying session at the Paul Ricard HTTT, the Corvette C6R of the PSI Experience team driven by Jos Menton edges out the Vitaphone Racing Maserati MC12 of Tomas Biagi. The gap was a mere 0.120 of a second with the Corvette C6R of the CLPK Carsport team a further two tenths back.
This is a strong performance for the PSI Experience as this team has not raced the full season in the FIA GT and decided to contest more races in the Championship after a strong performance in the Proximus 24 Hours of Spa. The leading Aston Martin is that of the Racing Alliance team who line up fourth. The Saleen of Balfe Motorsport lines up eighth just ahead of the leading GT2 runner with the Lister Storm of Red Racing lining up 11th.
Pole in the GT2 class was taken by the Scuderia Ecosse team with Andrew Kirkaldy at the wheel. The Scottish team is performing brilliantly at the moment with five pole positions in a row. The other Ecosse entry lines up next to their teammates in 10th place overall. The sole G2 runner, Gillet Vertigo did not set a time and will line up last. The leading G3 runner is the Corvette Z06 of the Riverside team who line up 22nd overall.
